ACT I
The story of my career starts in the Entertainment Industry
I've been working in the film industry for the past 6 years, specifically in Marketing. I worked on film & series campaigns supporting the creation of trailers, key art, and social media content to create awareness and excitement for those titles. It was in this process where I became proficient working with graphic designers and editors, as well as collaborating with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, where communicating creative ideas with strategic purpose was paramount...
ACT II
I discovered & studied the world of UX Design
... But there was still something tucked away. I felt like there was more I could leverage using my natural balance of left brain/right brain skills (thanks Mom & Dad) in my career - and eventually I was introduced to the field of UX/UI Design by a close friend who works as a UX Designer. He gave me a stack of literature on the subject and through that careful research, I realized this would be an incredible career path based on my talents of finding patterns, communicating with people, and making thoughtful design decisions.
I’m drawn to the art of telling an immersive story - that’s what brought me out to Hollywood. And I see that passion unfolding in the design space. I want to propel good stories through good design. I’m excited to go into a new field to explore the opportunities of UX within the entertainment space and beyond, where I can help companies visualize stories through satisfying user experiences.

These interests spark excitement in my life - and I want to take those moments to build unexpected pockets of joy into my designs for people to experience. Websites and apps shouldn’t just be functional, they should also spark joy in the users. That’s my mission.
